Holiday Furniture Colors
The holidays are here and that means color!
Or does it?
Some people tend to shy away from color and others believe the more the cheerier. When asked, I recommend that people decorate in whatever colors make them happy. Whether it be red and green or pink and lime green, colors work together and bring joy to your home. Your holiday decor is whatever you want it to be. There is no wrong combination. Really bright colors paired together or layers of a variety of shades of one color are brilliant.
A tree will look amazing covered with ornaments in every color of the rainbow or only one or two colors. If you want to opt out of a tree and ornaments, consider greenery and pinecones. If you love candles, use them over the holidays to decorate.
I tend to favor the traditional colors that I grew up with. Reds and greens, classic silver and gold, and white and off-white with greenery and white twinkle lights make me smile.
With furniture, I like to paint all year around with neutral colors. During the holidays, I use burgundy wine, forest green, manor white, and smoke depending on the piece and purpose.
