Step 1: Prep your old window or door by cleaning it with a damp rag. Allow to dry.
Step 2: If there is existing paint and it’s chipping, sand lightly to smooth the surface.
Step 3: Dust with a clean rag.
Step 4: If you desire a distressed look, apply a thin layer of vaseline to the areas you don’t want paint to adhere too.
Step 5: Apply MudPaint with your brush. Allow to dry slightly (MudPaint dries quickly. So check in about 10 – 15 minutes.)
Step 6: Use a damp rag to wipe over the spots where you applied vaseline too.
Step 7: If you want a rustic chippy look, use a blow dryer over the areas you want to chip. It will only take a few minutes to see the paint bubbling.
Step 8: Allow to dry and if desired paint the glass with a stencil or use a decor transfer.
