Matte Finish Clear Coat – Just as picky on our finishing products as we are in our paint, we scoured the globe for the finest top coat we could find…and after searching the market, we just decided to brew up our own! Our Matte Finish Clear Coat finish not only holds up to wiping, cleaning chemicals and general wear, but it doesn’t show marks and spills as easily. It also maintains a nice matte sheen and goes on easily with a brush or our new Sponge Applicator – more on how to apply our matte finish clear coat at our blog post here. This finish coat is durable enough to use on kitchen tables and cabinets, as well. There is nothing else like it on the market and it has wonderful reviews!

I used the matte clear coat over my kitchen cabinets that I had just painted with MudPaint China White. I thoroughly enjoyed using this finish, and felt it was necessary due to the amount of use kitchen cabinets receive. As promised, it went on smoothly and dried matte, with no shine or gloss, which is exactly what I wanted. Cleanup was quick with soap and water lathered on my brushes.
