Our dark red furniture paint, Aged Red is timeless. Inspired by old barns and weathered farm houses, it gives any piece a rustic, aged look. Aged Red has just a touch of brown undertones – not as much as our Rust – whereas our Burgundy Wine has blue undertones. Our other MudPaint Red – Pomegranate – has hints of pop, zest and orange. Aged Red is a dark, antiqued and weathered red color.

MudPaint is a clay and water-based paint that is easy to apply, offers great coverage, and has a smooth matte finish. MudPaint is eco-friendly, LEED-compliant and it’s unique, clay-based formula with natural earthen materials requires little prep work and no waxing for a smooth coat. You will love painting with Aged Red – MudPaint’s old, dark and deep red clay furniture paint.

I recently purchased the smallest tub size in Aged Red, for a toaster oven cover my husband and I made. I was so intrigued by your clay-based formula, I had to give it a go… and I’m so glad I did! Like so many others, I loved the deep, rich, full-bodied (it sounds like I’m describing coffee, not paint) texture of this fabulous paint!
